Mia Babalis is a Pilates instructor, educator and Redcord specialist. After a debilitating back injury at age 14, Mia discovered Pilates. An introduction to Master Pilates Teacher Kathy Grant rehabilitated her, transforming the way she moved. Mia teaches Pilates with an emphasis on rehabilitation. Her training further enabled an extensive career as a modern dancer with the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble; Ballet Hispanico; Mikhail Baryshnikov’s White Oak Dance Project; and the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company.

Mia came to POSTUREWORKS in 2018 as a client; and basically, she never left. She is continually impressed with the professionalism, care and expertise at POSTUREWORKS. The Neurac/Redcord system provided her with such dramatic results, Mia immediately began training as a Redcord specialist. What Mia loves most about POSTUREWORKS is the collaborative approach to teaching, technology and client care.
