No More Nervous Wrecks!Decades of deep neurological damage literally left me both a nervous wreck and a chronic pain in the neck. Competitive marathon training and running in my twenties also destroyed my knees and hips. Ten transformative sessions with Kiim, however, changed my life.Kim is the mastermind and miracle worker behind Postureworks. Her holistic approach to my physical therapy and progressive healing began with a full body 3D scan (the first of its kind in the United States!) to measure and assess my physical impairment in movement and alignment. Next, Kim prescribed advanced healing technologies like the Red Cord suspension system and a patented microcurrent neuron mapping device that works with the nervous system (remember, I was a “nervous wreck!”) and promotes healing. Kim’s gentle guidance released my physical pain and latent (interconnected) emotional trauma, redirecting my focus and energy.Kim is a gifted healer: her intuitive, individual approach (and compassion) brought conscious awareness to subconscious, painful patterns of my past, making me better and stronger. The scope of her knowledge and care is life-changing.Therapeutic magnitude. Immense gratitude.Thank you, Postureworks!

Kim Finkelstein and her staff are professional, friendly and will work diligently to find a solution to your physical therapy needs. Along with traditional methods of PT, they also offer more advanced methods including the Neufit and the Redcord Methods. Both are used to stimulate the deeper muscles to perform in a more balanced and at an optimal level. Because of their eagerness to learn more and their perseverance they have helped me go from a hopeless and very painful patient to one who is much more functional and much less painful. Give Postureworks a try, you will not be disappointed.

Postureworks and Kim Finkelstein have been an absolute GODSEND for me! I was referred by one of the best spine care doctors in LA to Postureworks, and I see why. I have completely been transformed by Kim's expertise and care in neurac treatment using the Red Cords, Nuebit direct current, and physical therapy exercises. She really understands holistic health and helped me work through physical, emotional, and physiological traumas deeply embedded in my spinal chord, neural networks, and emotional body. AMAZING woman, completely transformed my health and body. Thank you thank you. Incredible clinic

So happy I found Postureworks. I had some injuries that were not healing with regular physical therapy and massage. After one session I was already starting to feel improvements. Elizabeth is amazing, I was training for a competition and she was my go to during my 8 weeks of training. She gave me the tools to succeed. I highly recommend postureworks!

For months, I had an injury on my right foot that was keeping me from walking long distances or training as I used to, and after seeing a couple of specialists and chiropractors, it was brought to my attention that there was something off about my bio mechanics that was throwing my whole body out of alignment, and thus, causing the injury on my foot. As I started looking at places for rehab, Posture Works really stood out because of their methods that seem a little unconventional at first, but after seeing so many testimonials and reviews, I decided to come in to get an evaluation.Elizabeth, was very thorough in my examination, and explained why my body was out of alignment and described the types of methods and exercises that could help correct it and speed up my recovery. Im pleased just say that just after three sessions, I have began to notice a huge improvement in the way I walk and how conscious I am about the way my body is moving, and mainly, it has decreased the amount of pain significantly by doing the exercises recommended by Elizabeth. I think I still need a little bit more to work on, but I have no doubt that I picked the right place to realign my body. Thank you Elizabeth and posture works for the work you do!! What I like the most about your practice is that you really do seem to care about patient recovery and I not just about having one more client.Vlad Pineda

I got into a fender bender that triggered a lingering neck strain. I saw Kathleen and team for treatment and can honestly say it was really helpful in my recovery. After 6 weeks of treatment, I have minimal pain in my neck. They were able to provide me lots of tools outside of treatment as well that helped me recover faster and be concious of how I move my body. Would definitely recommend PostureWorks PT if you are looking to fix your body!

My life has been changed by Postureworks Physical Therapy. I have dealt with very serious migraines as well as poor posture due to sitting at a computer all day.My body has been trained to know that when I arrive at the building, that I am going to get relief. Even if I arrive with a headache, my body starts to calm down as soon as the elevator starts to rise to the third floor.rElizabeth and Kathleen are amazing and incredibly knowledgeable PTs. Felice is an intuitive and brilliant acupuncturist. And seeing Lisa's smile as you walk in just makes the experience even better.

I’ve had sessions with both Elizabeth and Kathleen. Came in for a shoulder issue and I’ve been making great progress. They really know what they’re doing and have really great specialized equipment for red cable therapy which is really good for doing workouts that are tough to do otherwise. I’m really happy with them, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good PT.

I am probably going to selfishly regret writing this review...I recently had the pleasure of receiving physical therapy at Postureworks and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I was recommended them after I had neurosurgery on my ankle. The therapists are highly skilled and knowledgeable, and they took the time to understand my specific needs and goals. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is extremely welcoming and comfortable. I appreciated the personalized approach to my treatment and the clear explanations of exercises and stretches to help me get back to normal. With Postureworks unique approach, my surgeon was extremely pleased and surprise with how quickly I was moving again after my surgery. I came out stronger not only from my surgery but my body as a whole. I would highly recommend Postureworks to anyone in need of physical therapy. Thank you to the Postureworks team! Five stars!

Spectacular! I highly recommend Postureworks!!Postureworks has had a tremendous impact on my life and I am very grateful for all their care, attention and for helping me recover from chronic lower back / sciatica pain.About their Method:The 3D Movement Scan technology is what they use to diagnose the physical imbalances of your body and determine what treatment you should do. The 3D Movement scan is basically a sensor that images your body while in movement and uses software to create a virtual 3D reconstruction of your body to analyze your movements. The treatments are customized to each patient's needs based on the 3D scan results, your input about your body and the staff's assessment. Postureworks has a Pilates Reformer and many other equipment, but the most impressive equipment to me is the RedCord Neurac. This is basically composed of a height adjustable bed with a set of adjustable pulleys over it. The pulleys are attached to straps and bungee cords that suspend parts of your body over the bed and allow you to make movements free of pain to tackle problematic regions of your body. This method is amazing as it allows you to strengthen parts of your body and re-establish mind-body connections that you couldn't before because of pain.About my experience:All of the staff are very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. It is a very pleasant environment and I feel welcome there.I started out my sessions with Kim (the owner) and it was a great experience. She is knowledgeable and was very invested in helping me; with her expertise she was able to quickly identify what I needed to work on and set a plan for me. I am now working with Julia and it has been fantastic, I feel better every week. She is really good at understanding how my body is responding to the work we are doing; she listens to the input I give her about my body and uses that to tailor our sessions according to that. To finish off, Lisa at the front desk is the best; she's really organized, nice and attentive.Final Thoughts:Particularly, I think the sessions are a bit expensive, but when compared to other good physical therapy clinics or to Pilates and Gyrotonic studios the price is reasonable.I don't see Postureworks as a typical physical therapy center, it is not a "rehabilitation" center (which is how many people see physical therapy centers), it is much more than that. The work at Postureworks is applicable to anyone trying to work on or improve their body, be it people with injuries, chronic pain, athletes or anyone just trying to take care of their well-being.I highly recommend Postureworks!!!

Over the past 15 years, I’ve noticed the increase of instability and imbalances within my body. My body felt, for lack of a better word, "off." In fact, it wasn't just a feeling. The chronic pain, tightness, and sensation of feeling "off" lead to a handful of injures due to asymmetries, compensation, weak mind-muscle connections, and my body's inability to function as it should. Being someone that enjoys living a fitness-heavy lifestyle, having these areas of concern progress in such a manner that they greatly inhibited my ability to participate in things that I loved to do was...concerning, to say the least.During that 15-year stretch, I tried everything I could in order to feel better: acupuncture, massage, chiropractic work, rolfing, different weightlifting/training regiments, and years of physical therapy. However, nothing seemed to stick. I’d get moments of relief, but they never lasted for more than a few hours. Traditional physical therapy seemed to help for a while, and I would get stronger doing the exercises they told me to do, but that feeling of being "off" never went away. The chronic pain and discomfort that accompanied that feeling never went away. The exhaustion and frustration of the entire situation never went away.Disheartened with how a 6-month stint at a traditional physical therapy clinic was going, I started the oh-so-familiar process of searching for a new clinic to switch to; searching for a place that could truly understand my concerns, that could "get" me, that could finally help me figure this out. That's when I stumbled upon Postureworks. That's when everything changed.I called to inquire about the clinic and ended up being transferred to the owner, Kim, with whom I shared my story. She was not only kind, but genuinely empathetic when hearing about what I’d been going through for all these years. Kim went on to explain the Redcord system, 3D Moovment Scan, and the way in which Postureworks approaches physical therapy. To be honest, I was skeptical. The entire thing sounded so odd, different, and, frankly, like a bit of scam. However, at the end of our call, Kim told me she felt that she and her team would be able to help me. Now, I’ve been told that many, many times over the last 15 years, but I can honestly say that this was the first time I actually believed it. So, I put aside my skepticism and decided to give it a shot. As it turns out, “odd” and "different" was exactly what I needed.Kim told me I’d be under the care of Elizabeth. Elizabeth is wonderful, and I could easily write a review of equal length dedicated to her alone. The level of passion she has for her work is contagious, and that’s especially impressive given that our sessions are at 7am. Her attention to detail, ability to communicate each exercise, and comforting demeanor never allows for a shred of doubt to cross your mind. An example of this would be when I recently had a flare up in my low back/left leg a few weeks back. Things like this would normally take weeks, if not months, to recover from when I was in traditional physical therapy. Elizabeth had me feeling 40% better after one session, 60% better after a second session, and nearly back to normal after a 3rd. That’s a week. That’s unheard of for me with situations of that nature. As a result, I trust her more than any physical therapist I’ve ever had. She knows what she is doing, and she’s incredibly good at doing it.For the first time in 15 years, I’m noticing a difference in my body. I’m starting to feel aligned. I’m starting to feel balanced. I’m starting to feel less “off.” There’s still quite a bit of work to be done until I can put this part of my life behind me, but the fact that I’m seeing any progress at all after the journey I’ve been through is a testament to Kim, her team, and to what Postureworks is capable of.If you’re on the fence in regards to their method or feel as though you’ve exhausted all options and nothing seems to help, give them a call. It works.

This place is the best, I've been to too many PT's to count to deal with my back pain but none of them got the kind of results I had here. The best equipment and really amazing therapists who know what they're doing. You won't go wrong here.

Postureworks has been a life-changing experience of physical therapy: in addition to focusing on the immediate pain concerns, all of the Red Cord therapists take a holistic approach that starts with proper breathing techniques and extends to full-body alignment as well as proper sleeping positions. Along with being back to biking and hiking, I can foresee that—happily and unexpectedly—running is in my near-future! Now that I understand and feel my body in new ways, I know how to do minor corrections that will ensure my form doesn’t aggravate my piriformis. And during the shutdown, they organized online appointments to ensure I kept up on the gains made. This was a bonus so that now I know how to properly adjust while doing my at-home exercises. As a bonus for someone hunched at a computer all day, my posture is greatly improved.Although I worked with the fantastic Natasha most regularly, sometimes to accommodate my schedule I worked with the 3 other therapists—ALL were equally skilled and provided attentive care. In my previous PT experiences, this would never be the case. What I’ve learned and put into my weekly routine is a commitment that I plan to keep even once my injury heals: I’ll do this with at-home exercises as well as regular in-studio alignment check-ins to ensure no bad habits inch their way into my routines. Postureworks is a unique holistic physical therapy studio that will keep you on the move.

I have an 8mm herniated disc between my L4/L5 vertebrae which caused extreme stiffness In my back and shooting pain down my left leg. I tried traditional PT for 6 months which almost made the pain worse. At the recommendation of a new Doctor, I gave Postureworks a try and although I was skeptical at first to see another therapist I couldn’t be happier with the program and the results to date. I am 2/3 through my sessions and am now pain free and was even able to get back on skis. Kim, Natasha, and the rest of the staff provided a curated approach to my specific problems and the results speak for themselves.

Kim and everyone at her practice are exceptional. I had back problems from pregnancy and postpartum and had worked with other physical therapists to no avail. Thanks to Kim, I am functioning again. Kim is patient, thoughtful, and treats the whole body and person. She has so much experience and I cannot recommend her enough!

Run do not walk to Postureworks! (Of course, if you can run, you may not need them!) This is not physical therapy that is like any other therapy. Imagine pilates on steroids and throw in neuromuscular re-education through a variety of modalities. Since I started at Postureworks the changes in my body have been beyond extraordinary. I went in for a spine injury that supposedly required surgery. Thanks to the amazing Redcord therapy I got at Postureworks, I avoided surgery and went back to an active life including horseback riding and golf. While rehabbing my back, I discovered how off axis my posture was, and also how my brain was not activating the proper muscles for most of my motor movements. (No wonder I've had numerous "accidents" and surgeries-- I just thought I was an unlucky klutz!) At Postureworks I have changed my posture permanently and re-educated my brain to muscle activation. I am still going there because I have even more to accomplish. I also enjoy myself tremendously when I am there. It's a beautiful environment with a kind and efficient staff. Every therapist I have worked with has been warm, supportive, upbeat and supremely skilled at what they do. Kim is a master above all other masters when it comes to body repair. You won't regret giving them a try.

After 20+ years of living with back pain from a near fatal auto accident, I was referred to Postureworks by my doctor. When I entered treatment, my expectations were extremely low because I had traveled far and wide to find a cure for my pain to no avail.Postureworks not only used Red Cord therapy to help me alleviate my muscle and back (shoulder/leg/neck/hip) pain, but it restored and strengthened my core movements. Now, I feel connected from my head to toe for the first time. I feel grounded in every sense of the word. Not to mention, Postureworks taught me how to walk properly, and that was a big game changer for me.In addition, the massage they offered opened my shoulders and chest up in a way that I did not believe was possible. I think it opened me up to ME! There was a moment where I felt vulnerable, but that turned to an inner strength that I had not felt in a long time.I am here to say that I no longer live with 8-9 back pain (and when triggered a 12-15) but rather a 1-2 because of regular wear and tear. I feel alive and well in my body, and beyond happy that I stumbled upon this wellness center.Thank you Postureworks. I am grateful for you.

The staff at Postureworks are not only friendly and welcoming but incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. From the moment I walked through the front door, I felt comfortable and confident I was in great hands. They are different than an average physical therapy office. The red cord program takes a second to understand but it’s worked wonders for my chronic back pain. It’s a much more personalized physical therapy approach and the results are incredible.

After trying a few different sports physical therapy practices, I was frustrated that they didn't improve my overall condition with my spinal stenosis and that surgery was looking like my only viable option to find relief for my lower back pain.My sister had mentioned a new type of physical therapy that she had tried that was unlike any other. I decided to give Postureworks a chance before moving forward with surgery. When I arrived I noticed they implemented a type of treatment (redcord/neurac) that ive never seen or heard of. Nevertheless I was able to see results. They were able to not only provide me with relief from lower back issues, but also helped me by improving my Posture and modalities and to be conscious of my bodies positioning so I don't compensate, allowing me to relieve all the added stress Ive been putting on my lower back.. I definitely recommend Postureworks for anyone in a similar position. Thank you Postureworks!
